The Noose Around Iran

"Iranian President Seeks Return of the Messiah Through War"

     Iran is surrounded by the US and Western allies. The Persian country is seeking to deploy nuclear weapons and finding support from America’s enemies. Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, North Korea, with areas of Pakistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Russia, and China. The scenario for WWIII is laid out. The US military and her allies have surround Iran like a noose ready to be tightened. The trigger is Israel.

      Anyone doing research can see the noose by connecting the dots. First, recount the US Air Force bases: Tallil in Iraq, Al Jaber and Al Salem in Kuwait, Al Udeid in Qatar, Al Dhafia in the UAE, Eskan, Aziz, Fahd, Khalid, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Incirlik and Izmir in Turkey,  and Manas in Kyrgyzstan. Then, there are the US Army and Marines in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and Georgia. Iran is sandwiched in-between them. Moreover, the big guns of the US Navy have set Iran in its sights.

     The Atlantic Fleet Command has seven carriers assigned to carry out its mission. They include the USS Enterprise, USS John F. Kennedy, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, USS Theodore Roosevelt, USS George Washington, USS Harry S. Truman, and the USS Carl Vinson. One or two of these carriers are usually deployed with the U.S. 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean Sea or to the Persian Gulf in support of U.S. Central Command. When not deployed, or undergoing periodic maintenance/overhaul, or refresher training, these ships operate with the U.S. 2nd Fleet in the Western Atlantic.

     The 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean is the Naval Striking and Support Forces, Southern Europe (STRIKFORSOUTH). The 6th Fleet maintains control of the waters of, and air space over, the Mediterranean Sea, approaches thereto, adjacent inland areas, and the Black Sea. The Commander of 6th Fleet has both U.S. and NATO responsibilities.

     However, two aircraft carriers are not the only ones in the Mid-East. The US Naval 5th Fleet, an Echelon III command, supports all naval operations in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility. It encompasses the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Gulf of Oman, and parts of the Indian Ocean. The US Navy 5th Fleet is based in Bahrain. The Enterprise Strike Group is currently (9/21/06) operating in the northern Arabian Sea in support of maritime security operations, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

     Toward the end of summer of ’06, there are four out of the seven carriers in the CENTCOM area of responsibility around or near the Arabian Sea. The Enterprise, the Kennedy, the Washington, and the Eisenhower. The Roosevelt is in Norfolk preparing to leave dock. The Vinson is in dry-dock at Newport News, VA and the Truman is in England being refurbished and ready to go anytime soon. Furthermore, the French and Italian Navies have moved their carriers from the Arabian Sea to the Mediterranean off the coast of Lebanon. The Truman could easily join them. In the very near future, there can be a potential of seven carriers from Western powers in the area. In addition, these carriers bring their battle groups along with them.

     There is major firepower surrounding Iran. What does all this mean? Iran fires a nuclear missile on Israel and the noose is pulled. The current Iranian President, when addressing the UN General Assembly prays for the appearance of the 12th Imam Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah. This has happened on more than one occasion. Ahmadinejad the Iranian president believes he has been called to usher in the appearance of the “Messiah” through the outbreak of war. One source is quoted as saying Ahmadinejad believes this will take place within two years.
