When God hates something is that being mean?
Recently, a visitor to our web site had this comment: "you guys are out to lunch. sorry you have so much hate in you heart that you have attempted to make God full of hate as well. but you will loss, his love with endure forever. your hate will come to an end.”
The question this comment brings up is when God hates something is that being mean? God is balanced and will not love evil. God is love and to know the true meaning of love you must find out what God is like. The only way to find out what God is like is to read His holy word.
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace (Ecc. 3:8).
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world (I John 2:15-16).
And God said ...As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated (Romans 9:13).
Why did God hate this person when he said He so loved the world and if any man love the world then the love of the Father is not in him? The answer is God loves the souls that are in the world enough to die for them so they do not have to go to hell. God does not love sin, or false doctrine especially because sin and false doctrine, and false prophets and false "holy" people will send souls to hell. Esau was such a person of the world that he gave himself over to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Esau was a person that loved the world so much that he did not care if he went to hell when he died and he did not care how many people he took with him. That is one person God hates.
So, when a pope takes the name of God upon himself and lets pedophiles and rapists who defile virgins, run rampant and hides them, do you think God is going to “love” a devil like that? Sorry, but God is not that sick and twisted like the sick and twisted perverts who just love everything. God is balanced and there is a time to hate and a time to love. The question is are you searching to hate the things God hates and love the things God loves?
