'Mark of the Beast'

India To Issue All 1.2 Billion Citizens

With Biometric ID Cards

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Senators Push Biometric ID Card

Two prominent U.S. Senators are promoting national ID cards as a means of mending the nation's "badly broken" immigration system. Senators Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) have said they will co-sponsor legislation to require all workers in the U.S., citizens as well as aliens, to have a biometric Social Security cards, with a unique personal identifier such as a fingerprint or eye scan, in order to work.

Prospective employers would be required to swipe the card through a machine to verify a worker or applicant's identity and immigration status. "Employers who refused to swipe the card or who otherwise knowingly hired unauthorized workers would face stiff fines and, for repeat offenses, prison sentences," the Senators said in an op-ed entered Thursday on the Washington Post web site.

The new cards would be a "high-tech, fraud proof" improvement of the Social Security cards people already have, they said. "Each card's unique biometric identifier would be stored only on the card; no government database would house everyone's information (true: just a private sector firmed controlled by the government). The cards would not contain any private information, medical information or tracking devices." (true: the cards will point to a database that contains this info)

Yet a few paragraphs later, they propose, among the other steps for fixing the immigration system, "an entry-exit system that tracks people who enter the United States on legal visas and reports those who overstay their visas to law enforcement databases." That raises questions about whether the biometric cards they propose would really contain "no tracking devices." And how would it work if it not connected to a government "data bank" to confirm that the fingerprint or image on the card truly matches the identity of the person presenting it?

On the web site at the libertarian Cato Institute, Jim Hoffman has zeroed in on the potential dangers of using a biometric Social Security card as a means of controlling illegal immigration. "It would also subject every employment decision to the federal government's approval," Hoffman wrote. It would make surveillance of law-abiding citizens easier. It would allow the government to control access to health care. It would facilitate gun control. It would cost $100 billion dollars or more. It would draw bribery and corruption into the Social Security Administration. It would promote the development of sophisticated biometric identity fraud." Addressing Graham in particular, Hoffman told the South Carolina Republican, "Your saying that bigger government is the solution, not smaller government."

Many European countries require both citizens and non-citizens to carry an ID card. The idea gained some temporary popularity in the U.S. after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. A Pew research poll conducted between September 13 and 17th of that year showed 70 percent in favor of requiring all citizens to carry one. The following week 56 percent in a New York Times/CBS poll said they would accept mandatory national electronic identification cards.

A Time/CNN poll found half of those surveyed were in favor of requiring Arab-Americans to carry federal ID cards. A Week in Review article in the New York Times of October 7, 2001 offered a picture of what might be in store if a national ID requirement is enacted by Congress: Imagine you were moving to a new state and the government required you to register at the local precinct. Or that before the hospital let Mom leave with her newborn, Dad had to register the newly arrived citizen at a central office. Or that the police could stop you and demand to see your papers while you stepped out for a quart of milk. Most Europeans are already living under such regulations, the Times said.

E-Passports Coming to India

August 2007

The Indian government has announced that it is to issue all of its 1.2 billion citizens with biometric identity cards. The Indian government has decided to introduce electronic passports (e-passports), also known as biometric passports. Initial e-passports will go to diplomats and officials, says R.R. Dash, chief passport officer and joint secretary in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. About 25,000 to 30,000 e-passports will be issued to this group beginning in October. Based on the experience gained from this pilot project, “we will start the process of issuing e-passports to Indian citizens by October 2008,” Dash says.

Indian e-passport would look like an ordinary passport with an embedded electronic chip. The chip would contain the photograph, fingerprint and personal information of the holder so that the passport could not be duplicated. An e-passport is machine-readable, enabling quick processing at airports. The passport comes with a built-in security (biometric) feature, which comprises an integrated circuit (IC) embedded in the back cover that stores the data, including photo. These also make the passport tamper-proof. In ordinary passports, this data is typically displayed on the photo page.

Already, 35 countries have shifted to the e-passport system, and more countries are queuing up. The biometric passport is an offshoot of the 9/11/01 attacks in the United States and is reckoned as a foolproof method to check passport cheats in their tracks.

With almost 500 million passports in circulation and the cost of a single e-passport ranging between $8 and $15, it has opened up a huge market for information technology (IT) firms. Ashok Chandak, director, NXP Semiconductor India, is bullish about his company’s future. “We command market leadership in supplying ICs for e-passports. Around 85 percent of the developed countries adopting the electronic format are using NXP chips and identification systems,” says Chandak. India has 40 million passports and about 10 million are being added every year.

Gemini Traze RFID India is also looking forward to cashing in on the e-passport market. Pradhyumna Venkat, the company’s chief executive officer, has recently stated that his company has been talking to a few countries who are in the deployment stage of e-passports. Most of these are in Europe. “We are also looking for tie-ups with local partners in these markets.” Venkat believes that the e-passport market is huge but will take another three to four years to mature.

     M. Vidyasagar, executive vice-president and head, Advanced Technology Centre of TCS in Hyderabad says: “Our company had already developed an integrated solution in this regard including hardware. We will either implement the software or provide machines that support it depending on the order placed by an airport authority.”

India to issue all 1.2 billion citizens with biometric ID cards

India is preparing to force all its 1.2 billion people to accept a National ID Card with biometric features! This new program is a huge step forward toward implementing the prophesied 'Mark of the Beast.' NEWS BRIEF: "India to issue all 1.2 billion citizens with biometric ID cards," Telegraph.co.uk, July 15, 2009. "The operation will be run by the Unique Identification Authority, a new government department created specifically for the task of assigning every living Indian an exclusive number and gathering and electronically storing their personal details. It is hoped that the operation, which is expected to cost at least £3 billion, will fight corruption but it could also be used to identify illegal immigrants and tackle terrorism."

Of course, this program will also condition Indians that the government has the right to force them to accept a national ID card. Such a system is a precursor to the ultimate 'Mark of the Beast' implanted chip. After Antichrist is on the world scene, Indians will be told that their biometric national ID card is too susceptible to loss and theft and that the only way in which to solve this problem is to initiate an implantable chip. This same rationale for the Mark of the Beast will be repeated in every country on earth.

"Nandan Nilekani, who is in charge of the operation, called it a humongous, mind-boggling challenge. 'But we have the opportunity to give every Indian citizen, for the first time, a unique identity. We can transform the country,' he told The Times. At present Indian citizens can be issued with up to 20 proofs of identity, including birth certificates, driving licenses and ration cards, although none is accepted universally. A computer chip in each card will contain personal data and proof of identity, such as fingerprint or iris scans. Criminal records and credit histories may also be included."

At this point, the inevitable massive government database on individual citizens comes into play. "Mr Nilekani, who left Infosys, the outsourcing giant that he co-founded, to take up his new job, wants the cards to be linked to a 'ubiquitous online database'; accessible from anywhere." Such a 'ubiquitous online database' is essential for the coming global dictatorship of Antichrist -- worldwide.
