Palestinian Negotiator Qureia Suspends Talks With Israel Over Israeli Attacks In Gaza

Ahmed Qureia announced in Ramallah Sat. March 1, that peace talks with Israel were suspended. Jerusalem: This step contradicts Palestinian and Israeli commitment to fight terror regardless. Israel did not break off talks over Palestinian missile offensive against civilians. It is entitled to defend itself and determine the proportionality of its response to aggression.  Earlier, Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas condemned Israel’s response to Palestinian missile attacks is “worse than a holocaust.” Hamas’ politburo chief Khaled Meshaal called a news conference in Damascus and repeated the term “holocaust.” DEBKAfile: The peace track was not robust or authentic enough to weather Israel’s first serious response to Palestinian missile terrorism.

Last Generation: "Peace" in the Promised Land will not be possible for two reasons. The Muslims have stated they want the land of Israel for themselves and will drive the Jews into the Mediterranean Sea. No amount of "peace" talks will work because the Muslims will say and do anything until they are in a position of strength. If that means call a ceasefire, collect money from a US President looking for a legacy, and wait until they have more arms smuggled into position, then Muslims will say anything. That is part of their belief system and written in the Koran: do or say anything to your enemy until you defeat them. The second reason "peace" is not possible is found in prophecy. The Bible prophecies that Israel will be war-torn until Jesus returns to wipe out the anti-Christ and his armies. Tribulation and war awaits the Promised Land until the return of Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,

KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (Rev. 19:14-16).

Saudi Citizens Instructed To Depart Lebanon With All Possible Speed

Saudi Citizens Instructed To Depart Lebanon With All Possible Speed

DEBKAfile’s Middle East sources report that this unprecedented order from the royal court in Riyadh on March 1 portends an unusual military outbreak in Lebanon. Kuwait quickly followed suit. Standing by since Friday off the troubled Mediterranean shores of Lebanon, Israel, and Gaza is the USS Cole guided missile destroyer opposite Lebanon. It was joined Monday by the USS Nassau amphibious warship and its strike group of six vessels carrying 2,800 marines, flight crews and sailors. US naval sources report that a third group will join them shortly.

Last Generation: Is this revenge-time upon Muslim terrorists who have hijacked Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, and Arab Gulf States? These governments will not stop terrorism. Israel, backed by the US have vowed to wipe out terrorism and now is the time, the Middle East is the place, and Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaida are the ones. The US Cole was the same ship that saw 19 sailors killed by terrorists who blew a hole in her side seven years ago.  Has Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait along with other "friends" of the US been forewarned ahead of time? Syria and Iran will need to be contained as well. If Iran and Syria decide to participate in the upcoming war then a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities will surely follow. Damascus is prophesied to be completely destroyed in the very near future.

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap (Isaiah 17:1).

“If We Have To Use Force To Change The Situation, We Will Do So”

Defense minister Ehud Barak: Our first responsibility is to our citizens' security Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak made this pledge after a high-level security conference Sunday night May 2 on the Gaza missile crisis. “It’s time to act, our operation will press on and Hamas will be responsible for the consequences,” he said. Barak pointed out that Israel pulled out of Gaza and tore Israelis from their homes for the sake of calm on the Israeli side of the border. “But Hamas continues to shoot at innocent civilians for no reason at all. Our first responsibility is for our citizens’ security.” Military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Amos Yadlin noted that Iran, Syria, and Hizballah are waiting and watching the confrontation in the Gaza Strip to see how it turns out as a future reference point for their own course of action against Israel. DEBKAfile’s military sources report: All that the Israeli military has done so far is to enter the same strip of land around Beit Hanun and Beit Lahiya inside northern Gazan in which it has operated in previous routine operations, with no effect on the Palestinian missile offensive. By deploying F-16 jets for air attacks this time Israel has increased the number of Palestinian casualties but otherwise changed nothing. There was little fighting Sunday because Hamas and Islamic Jihad combatants had pulled back. Therefore without a change of tactics, the situation cannot be changed.

Prime minister Ehud Olmert pledged not to stop Israel’s Gaza assault until the Palestinians halted their missile offensive, but peace talks would go on. He was instantly rebuffed by Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who formally suspended all contacts with Israel. Replying to the UN condemnation of Israel’s attacks as “disproportionate and excessive”, Olmert said: “No one has the right to preach to Israel for exercising its right to self-defense.” DEBKAfile’s military sources report that Minister Dichter was speaking for the frustrated Israeli commanders conducting the Gaza anti-missile campaign against Hamas. The government is still restricting Israel’s military incursion of the Gaza Strip to 2.5-3 km deep, whereas Palestinian crews are firing missiles and rockets from the relatively safe distance of 6 to 15 km inside the Strip. That is why, Dichter argued, the operation is falling short of its goals, which defense minister Ehud Barak defined to the ministers as halting Palestinian missile fire and cutting down their arms smuggling. Also Sunday, Palestinian mortar fire was again directed at Israeli convoys heading through the Sufa crossing with meat, wheat and other food for Gaza’s population. The trucks turned back and several hours later got through.

Last Generation: The world cries when Israel defends herself. However, no one cries when Israeli citizens are murdered in suicidal bombings, rocket attacks, and homicidal kidnappings. Israel has the right to defend herself just as the US would send F-22's into Mexico if they decided to propel rockets into San Diego or El Paso. Spain, France, Germany, or any other European community would not sit still if Libya or Egypt decided to send rockets into the smallest of European villages. Why no outcry against Hamas for propelling rockets for years into Israeli communities? Israel forcefully removed its citizens, against God's will, to bend backwards for Muslim "peace." What did that buy them, increased rocket attacks and Iran and Syria arming Gaza militants. The lesson learned is believe God when He says He has given the Promised Land to the Jews. No amount of "peace" talks will change that. The Arab Muslims should help their brethren by accepting God's will and giving them land in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt. As far as the Rock of the Dome on the Temple Mount is concerned one must go to the Bible for that answer. The Rock of the Dome will be destroyed and Solomon's Temple is going to be rebuilt.

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months (Revelation 11:1-2).

US Congressional Panel Recognizes The “Forgotten” Jewish Refugees from Arab Lands
by DebkaFile

The resolution unanimously approved by the House Foreign Affairs Committee Thursday, Feb. 29, recognizes the “over 850,000 Jews put to flight from Arab countries” in 1948 as refugees, no less than their Palestinian counterparts, who they outnumber. The US president is urged to ensure that when the Middle refugee issue is discussed in international forums, any reference to Palestinian refugees be matched by a similarly explicit reference to expelled Jewish populations.

Last Generation: Why the hypocrisy when it comes to the apple of God's eye, the children of Abraham, the Jews? Does the International community fear Muslim terrorists to the point they are willing to turn a blind eye to the truth? Does the global community hate God to the point they are willing ignore the plight of the Jewish community because they were given the promises of God? While it is true many of the children of Abraham have decided to forsake the truth of God and accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah that does not mean God has cast Israel off forever. The eyes of Israel will one day be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ, the God of heaven and earth. Israel is still the apple of God's eye and anyone who blesses the children of Abraham will be blessed and anyone who curses the nation of Israel will be cursed.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Romans 11:25-32
