President Obama is so dedicated to promoting homosexuality he's putting the "twisted sexual desires" of adults before the needs of children and deserves to be "rebuked" for his unwise decisions, according to several Christian groups in a Father's Day statement. Black Christian News "is calling upon true men of God across this country to rebuke this unwise (more like evil, Marxist, perverted, and twisted) president for suggesting this ungodliness before our nation, and help him understand that his presidency is in jeopardy, and not because of the oil catastrophe in the Gulf," the news organization said in an online commentary today.
"Our president is so committed to normalizing homosexual conduct that he is putting the twisted sexual desires of adults ahead of the needs of children," added Tim Wildmon, president of the American Family Association. "And with his push to repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' he's putting the twisted sexual desires of adults ahead of our national security." The lobbying to which the organizations objected came over the weekend in Obama's Father's Day statement to the nation.
"Together, we can support the guiding presence of male role models in the lives of countless young people who stand to gain from it," Obama said. "Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step-father, a grandfather, or caring guardian." --President Obama
"This is the first time in our nation's history that a president has used Father's Day as an excuse to promote the radical homosexual agenda and completely redefine the word 'family,'" Wildmon said. "Virtually all Americans have the common sense to recognize that children need both a mother and a father. Rudimentary biology tells us it's impossible for a child to have two fathers. But here we have the leader of our nation and the Democrat Party celebrating sexual behavior which is contrary to nature and pushing a household structure that we know is harmful to children. This is a sad day for the American family." He said the statement clearly "shows how out-of-step the president is with most Americans. Same-sex parenting is not in any way the moral or functional equivalent of the parenting done by a mom and a dad."

Demanding to wear a tuxedo and bring your lesbian partner to the high school prom has been great for Constance McMillen. Ellen DeGeneres gave her a $30,000 scholarship check. Now she's meeting with Obama and being celebrated at Gay Pride parades and ACLU fundraisers at Woodstock. In Monday's USA Today, reporter Chris Joyner offered a promotional story with absolutely zero dissent or controversy allowed against the ACLU plaintiff: "Constance McMillen started the month graduating from a strange high school in tears. She will end it meeting President Obama, attending a benefit concert with pop legend Ronnie Spector and marching in a New York City parade. It's been that kind of year for the openly gay 18-year-old who made national news when her Fulton, Miss., high school canceled its prom after she asked to bring her girlfriend."
McMillen will attend a White House reception Tuesday for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens from around the nation in recognition of Gay Pride Month. The White House confirmed Friday that Obama will host the event and is expected to deliver brief remarks. Notice how USA Today spins: McMillen "asked to bring her girlfriend." That's misleading at best: it should say "sued to bring her girlfriend." When the school district canceled the prom -- it's a tradition, but hardly an educational necessity -- McMillen's lawsuit canceled the prom for every student. But USA Today thinks she deserves a parade and an "All Love All Woodstock" benefit concert and a tribute from President Obama.
Here's how sympathetic Chris Joyner (a reporter for the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger, owned by Gannett like USA Today) recounted the lawsuit: After the prom controversy, McMillen said, she faced a hostile environment from her peers and transferred out of her northeast Mississippi school district to a school 200 miles away in Jackson. She said she broke down in tears at the graduation ceremony. "I didn't really want to walk, but I did it for my parents," she said. "My name wasn't on the program.” Opponents were not allowed to speak, for it might ruin the Happy News vibe that gay groups demand. USA Today stuck to the leftist script of how McMillen had a "traumatic experience" with all that evil discrimination from school officials.
McMillen sued the district after the school board called off the prom. A federal judge agreed the district had violated her constitutional rights. As rumors of parent-sponsored dances swirled around the city of 3,900, the district sent a letter to McMillen's lawyer steering her toward a party at a country club. McMillen arrived to find fewer than 10 other students there. Most of her classmates were at a separate party. "For any teenager, that has to be a traumatic experience," Sun said.
Joyner's story left out the $30,000 scholarship check, and ignored gay Congressman Jared Polis's bill to ban all kinds of anti-gay discrimination in public schools and force high schools to accept gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students at proms. Joyner's Jackson story had additional detail, including that she can't wait to meet Obama: She said she takes a lot of inspiration that the nation overcame a history of racism to elect its first African-American president.” It gives me hope, because if you can overcome that hate, then you can overcome the rest of them," she said.

Despite the liberal rewrite of history some of us actually know a bit of it. I notice that when liberals say this they never mention that Germans discriminated, sometimes violently, against Italians, who violently discriminated against Irish, who violently discriminated against Chinese, who violently discriminated against Koreans, etc. This whole "poor oppressed class warfare" is so out-of-the-closet Marxism. The cute part is for YEARS leftists said "No it's not" and now that it's not "such a bad thing" they admit it. But, back to the article. She didn't want acceptance - she wanted to FORCE PEOPLE to accept her.
She's not forced to accept my Christian values. She's not forced to accept my 2nd Amendment views. She's sure not going to stand shoulder to shoulder with me when I protest her lifestyle "out of fairness to my freedom of speech." This woman is typical of leftists and typical of the gay agenda promoters who for years said "if you want to have [group] free events pay for it yourself privately" - and the town DID EXACTLY that. The ACLU isn't suing Katy Perry for banning all straight men from her set during a video shoot - or the myriad other examples where bashing, discriminating, or targeting men has taken place in our society and by our courts. Funny thing, no?
So, they had a privately funded prom and she wasn't invited? Weird. Not like she was "in your face" and using that agenda or anything? And you DON'T see the double standards, the hypocrisy, or how you said "pay for it yourselves" and we did - and (they) STILL need to exhibit control. Lastly, and this is important - the left, IMO, always accuse everyone of what is in their own hearts. They discriminate, ban speech, oppress, and are outwardly bigoted - and they label anyone else who disagrees with them as EXACTLY that.
