Walter Cronkite: Dead, Damned, And Burning In Hell
"The Most Trusted Man In America"
“...I'm Glad To Sit Here
At The Right Hand Of Satan”
“And That’s the Way It Is. July,17 2009.”
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matt. 12:37).
"...any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil. Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan."
--Walter Cronkite
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matt. 16:26)

Raised in Missouri and Texas, Cronkite had a comforting Midwestern accent and an everyman likability. He came off as everyone's "Uncle Walter," an image he fostered by leaning back in his chair and fiddling with a pipe at the end of nightly broadcasts. When he signed off the news with "And that's the way it is," many Americans believed him.
President Johnson was watching CBS News in 1968 when Cronkite followed a report critical of the Vietnam War with rare commentary -- the anchor declared the war unwinnable and said the U.S. should pull out. Johnson reportedly turned to an aide and said, "If I've lost Cronkite, I've lost Middle America." Many observers speculated that this was a major reason Johnson decided not to run for a second term -- and offered to negotiate with the North Vietnamese. "It was the first time in American history a war had been declared over by an anchorman," David Halberstam wrote in the 1979 book "The Powers That Be."

Walter Leland Cronkite, Jr. (November 4, 1916 – July 17, 2009) was an American broadcast journalist, best known as anchorman for the CBS Evening News for 19 years (1962–81). During the heyday of CBS News in the 1960s and 1970s, he was often cited in viewer opinion polls as "the most trusted man in America" because of his professional experience and kindly demeanor. Cronkite lived in Kansas City, Missouri, until he was ten, when his family moved to Houston, Texas. He attended junior high school at Lanier Junior High School (now Lanier Middle School) and high school at San Jacinto High School, where he edited the high school newspaper. He was a member of the Boy Scouts. He attended college at the University of Texas at Austin (UT), where he worked on the Daily Texan and became a member of the Nu chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity. He also was a member of the Houston chapter of DeMolay, a Masonic fraternal organization for boys.
In 1998, he supported President Bill Clinton during Clinton's impeachment trial. He was also a proponent of limited world government on the American federalist model, writing fund-raising letters for the World Federalist Association (now Citizens for Global Solutions). In accepting the 1999 Norman Cousins Global Governance Award at the ceremony at the United Nations, Cronkite said: "It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace. To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order. But the American colonies did it once and brought forth one of the most nearly perfect unions the world has ever seen." ("The most trusted man in America"?)

After leaving his position with CBS, Cronkite's political activism and offbeat ideas had no restraints. In 1989, Cronkite spoke to a dinner organized by People for the American Way, a group founded by Norman Lear. His candid politics surprised even that audience:
"I know liberalism isn't dead in this country," he said. "It simply has, temporarily we hope, lost its voice." "About the Democratic loss in this election ...it was not just a campaign strategy built on a defensive philosophy. It was not just an opposition that conducted one of the most sophisticated and cynical campaigns ever. ...It was the fault of too many who found their voices stilled by subtle ideological intimidation." "We know that unilateral action in Grenada and Tripoli was wrong. We know that Star Wars means uncontrollable escalation of the arms race. We know that the real threat to democracy is half a nation in poverty. ...We know that religious beliefs cannot define patriotism....
In 1999, he appeared at the United Nations to accept the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award from the World Federalists Association. He told those assembled, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, that the first step toward achieving a one-world government – his personal dream – is to strengthen the United Nations.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matt. 12:37).

"It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace," he said. "To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order."
In his acceptance speech, Cronkite added, "Pat Robertson has written in a book a few years ago that we should have a world government, but only when the Messiah arrives. He wrote, literally, any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil. Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan."
Later, in an interview with the BBC, Cronkite described this new order as something that sounded like a militaristic world dictatorship. "I wouldn't give up on the U.N. yet," he said. "I think we are realizing that we are going to have to have an international rule of law. We need not only an executive to make international law, but we need the military forces to enforce that law and the judicial system to bring the criminals to justice before they have the opportunity to build military forces that use these horrid weapons that rogue nations and movements can get hold of – germs and atomic weapons." He spoke openly about the need for America to give up its national sovereignty. "American people are going to begin to realize they are going to have to yield some sovereignty to an international body to enforce world law, and I think that's going to come to other people as well," he said. "It's a fair distance to get there, but we are not ever going to get there unless we keep trying to push ourselves onto the road."

In a new fund-raising letter for the World Federalist Association, former CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite, known for a generation as "the most trusted man in America," calls for the creation of a standing United Nations army and U.S. Senate ratification of the International Criminal Court. The World Federalist Association, directed by former presidential candidate John Anderson, promotes the idea of global government as the solution for many of the world's problems. "The recent terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon have shown that we must stand together, united as citizens of the world, if we are to create a world free of intolerance, injustice and violence," Cronkite says in his letter. "An empowered U.N. is our best hope for achieving such a goal – a global community that can solve our problems effectively, democratically and peacefully." Specifically, Cronkite calls for:
"permanent U.N. peacekeeping forces for rapid responses to ruptures of peace";
"U.S. Senate ratification of the International Criminal Court treaty in order to bring international lawbreakers to justice";
"a strong and well-funded Commission for Sustainable Development to protect the earth's atmosphere and oceans";
"full and on-time payments of all U.S. financial obligations to the U.N. – which amounts to only $1.11 per U.S. citizen"; and
"a more democratic and representative U.N. that provides a voice for the world's citizens, not just governments."
Cronkite adds that "until we have effective international law to forge genuine, enforceable international solutions, many of the most vexing problems we face will continue to defy remedy." The letter on behalf of the World Federalist Association's "Campaign for Global Change" is hardly the first time Cronkite has spoken out on such a controversial issue since stepping down as CBS News managing editor.
In October 1999, Cronkite spoke at the U.N. and called openly for world government – and an end to the notion of U.S. sovereignty. "It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict, we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace," he said to those assembled including then-first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. "To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order."
The New World Order:
Kingdom Of The Anti-Christ
The Bible prophecies of 10 kingdoms that will arise during the end-times (see Playing Monopoly With The Devil). These kingdoms will be taken over by the anti-Christ and a one world government will be born, the new world order. The ten kingdoms will be 10 federated unions which are currently being formed. Each of these unions will form their own currency until the one world government will demand all currencies be joined to one central bank with one global currency. The "Phoenix" was a name for that currency being talked about during the early 1980's.
Once the global currency is established, a truly global and cashless society will be forged. All exchanges will be done electronically. No one may buy or sell unless they have an electronic number to bank with, which will eventually be implanted in the right hand or forehead. The new number will be tied to worship of the anti-Christ. Anyone who refuses to worship the anti-Christ and take his number will not be able to buy, sell, bank, or pay bills.
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; buy receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (Rev.17:12-13)
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is
Six hundred threescore and six (Rev. 13:16-18).
