Pope launches team to 're-evangelize' the West. The Pope launched a team to stem the secularization of Catholic countries and "re-evangelize" the West. Benedict XVI announced the creation of a new Vatican department dedicated to tackling what he called "a grave crisis in the sense of the Christian faith and the role of the Church." He expressed deep concerns that previously staunch Catholic countries in Europe and North America were facing "the eclipse of a sense of God". Tens of thousands of worshippers are deserting the Church over issues such as clerical sex abuse and the ban on married priests. Britain has sold its soul to pursuit of 'reason' over religion (they’ve come to their senses about false religion he means), Catholic Archbishop warns.
“I have decided to create a new body with the aim of promoting a renewed evangelism," in countries that are going through "progressive secularization of society," the 83-year-old Pope said. The new department, to be called The Pontifical Council for New Evangelization, will try to reinvigorate belief among Catholics in rich, developed countries – or, in the pontiff's words, "find the right means to re-propose the perennial truth of the Gospel." (You’ll need the truth of the Bible for that rather than false catholic doctrine). It is expected to be led by an Italian archbishop, Rino Fisichella, who as head of the Pontifical Academy for Life is the Vatican's top bioethics official.
Congregations in the West have fallen dramatically and faith in the Church has been hard hit by a series of high-profile scandals involving the sexual abuse of children by pedophile priests. (The rock has finally been removed from the reeking pit of snakes and the fug has awoken people who can think for themselves). The Vatican, together with senior Church leaders in individual countries, has been accused of ignoring or actively covering up sex abuse cases in the United States, Australia, Germany, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Austria. The Pope himself has been accused of turning a blind eye to pedophile priest cases when he was Archbishop of Munich and then head of the Vatican's office for doctrinal enforcement.
The Pope made an official visit to Portugal last month, but barely 20 per cent of the population in the formerly staunchly Catholic country regularly attends church and the average age of priests is 62. Austria – once seen as a bulwark against the Protestant Reformation and a stronghold of Catholicism in central Europe – is witnessing a particularly strong push for a more liberal Church, partly in response to the pedophile sex abuse scandal. The Austrian Church has estimated that up to 80,000 of the country's 5.5 million Catholics could leave the church this year a new record. In Britain there are about six million Catholics – one in ten of the population – but only around a million say they go to Mass every Sunday. Archbishop Vincent Nichols, the President of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, said he looked forward to co-operating with the new body. "This initiative identifies a challenge with which many in the Catholic Church, and many in other Christian communities, are familiar," he said.

Who are you to believe? The word of God, inspired and preserved by the Holy Spirit of God through the Holy Bible, or a corrupt organization of pedophiles, wine bibbers, and false prophets. That question does not even need to be answered for thinking persons know in their heart the obvious conclusion. Following are some scriptures that show Catholic doctrine is not only wrong but outright silly. There may be a few souls still searching for the truth caught up in that bride of Satan called the Catholic Church. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, not to an organization that cannot read and discern the truth of God. The following are a few basis false doctrines of the Catholic “church” and the scriptures which prove those Catholic doctrines are inane.
False Catholic Doctrine teaches…
…Mary is a perpetual virgin. Hmmm, even without scripture that sounds absurd. What is a perpetual virgin anyways you may ask? Perpetual means lasting or enduring forever or for an indefinitely long time; eternal; permanent. So, Catholic doctrine is trying to teach that Mary was espoused to Joseph but did not have relations with her husband after the Messiah was born. It is true Mary was a virgin before the Messiah was born. However, Catholic doctrine would have us believe, although she was married, she did not have relations with her husband, after Jesus the Christ was born, in perpetuity? That is really far-fetched and off-the wall.
The holy scripture that proves the Catholic doctrine is false is Matthew 13:54-57, And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
Did you catch that? It was a well know fact that the vessel Jesus Christ used for his mother on earth was called Mary. And that from this vessel he had brothers called James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas. And that from this vessel Jesus also had sisters. The vessel God used to produce the Messiah was the same vessel that produced James, Joses, Simon, Judas and their sisters. These were not children that were virgin born as Jesus Christ was. The false Catholic doctrine of Mary’s perpetual virginity is a horselaugh.
False Catholic Doctrine teaches…
…Mary should be worshipped as a goddess and that intercessory prayer should be made through her to God. Intercession and invocation is set forth by the Council of Trent, which teaches that the saints who reign together with Christ offer up their own prayers to God for men. It is good and useful suppliantly to invoke them, and to have recourse to their prayers, aid, and help for obtaining benefits from God, through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord…. Those persons think impiously who deny that the Saints, who enjoy eternal happiness in heaven, are to be invoked; or who assert either that they do not pray for men, or that the invocation of them to pray for each of us is idolatry, or that it is repugnant to the word of God, and is opposed to the honour of the one Mediator of God and men, Jesus Christ (Sess. XXV).
Catholics think Mary is a tender-hearted mother and if you need anything from the austere father then you go to the tender-hearted mother to get what you want. Hmmm… that sounds like a folktale made up by the false prophets at the Council of Trent. You do not find that anywhere in the Bible. So the false Catholic doctrine is trying to tell me that the God who so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son is so harsh and insensitive that we have go through several other channels to reach Him including fictitious Catholic saints and Mary the perpetual virgin? That is hogwash and has nothing to do with the truth of the Bible.
The holy scriptures proving this Catholic doctrine is false is John 14:12-14: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Did you catch that? If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Jesus is saying when you pray to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, HE will do it. I does not say ask Mary the perpetual virgin, it does not say to ask saint Bartholomew or saint Jasmine, it says to ask God in Jesus Christ’s name. Nothing else.
I Timothy 2:5-6: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Hello there, anyone home? “There is one God, AND ONE MEDIATOR between God and men…” the perpetual virgin blessed Mary? I do not think so. The Catholic false teachers just made that up out of thin air. Jesus said IT IS HE, not Mary. Hello, anyone home?
Another scripture, John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. False Catholic doctrine claims Mary, the perpetual virgin is the bridge to the Father, the intercessor. Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life : NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME. You cannot get any clearer than that. If you cannot understand that you have a serious cerebral obstruction of massive extent. The devil has blinded you; Mary did not die on the cross for you, Mary is not God manifest in the flesh, Mary was a sinner just like you and I, Mary did not shed her blood for your sins and rise again from the dead. Jesus Christ did.
False Catholic Doctrine teaches…
…there are two main aspects to the Roman Catholic Priesthood: offering Mass and forgiving sins. During Mass the priest acts as a vessel for Christ and the priest is called to make Christ present during the Mass. Priests are also responsible for daily recitation of the principal and minor offices of the Liturgy of the Hours. Catholic priests are the only ministers of the Sacrament of Penance and Anointing of the Sick. They are the only ones who can celebrate the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. They, together with deacons, are the ordinary ministers of Baptism and witnesses to Holy Matrimony. A Catholic priest is ordained in Christ to say that in Christ Jesus they become your father through the Gospel.
Catholic priests claim they bring down the body and blood of Jesus every Sunday during Mass and that they can forgive the sins of other people. What a blasphemous crock of manure. Again, refusing to read the Bible has turned Catholic believers of false doctrine into following corrupted doctrines of devils. You are telling me that some cigarette sucking, dress wearing, wine bibber is going to listen to my sins, give me ten Hail Mary’s to recite for repentance and then he will forgive me of my sins? And do not forget to put money in the plate on Sunday. Oh by the way, that may not be all you need in this false religion; you actually must follow all the sacraments or you are dead meat. Not enough time to cover all those sacraments. However, if you cannot see the Bible clearly teaches against even the major false doctrine of Roman Catholicism then you are really deceived and need serious help.
I Timothy 2:5-6: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Quoting this scripture once should be evidence enough that Catholic doctrine is false. However, Catholicism is bent on teaching there are many ways to reach God through various intercessory paths. If Mary does not work than try a celibate priest or any one of thousands of idol saints (more than enough for each day of the year). Jesus is the only way. If you believe God you are on the right path, if you continue in false, Catholic doctrine you are on a pernicious path to destruction and hell.
Matthew 23:9, And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Jesus said call no man on earth your father. In context that is speaking of a person who teaches you spiritually. Not only does a Catholic priest want you to believe he can forgive you of your sins, he wants you to call him your father in a spiritual sense, which is a title reserved for God Almighty. Are you not beginning to get the sense that a Catholic priest thinks he is way better than God himself. Instead of pointing people to the truth they claim they are the ones who partition out salvation. Catholic priest want to keep the real Lord dead on a cross that they claim only they can bring down every Sunday in the form of the Eucharist. According to God and His holy scriptures that is blasphemous bologna.
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration (Rev. 17:3-6).
