The “Apostle” Dr. José Luis De Jesus Miranda claims to be
the Man Christ Jesus in the flesh.
When asked why he is not an anti-Christ his website teaches, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Notice how this verse states that the false Christs will come performing what?—signs and wonders. The Apostle Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda has not appeared to perform signs and wonders. He has arisen to reveal specific information of the authentic gospel of the uncircumcision.” De Jesus Miranda claims a person can know that he (De Jesus Miranda) is not an anti-Christ because he does not perform miracles, signs, and wonders as the above scripture states an anti-Christ will obviously perform.
De Jesus’ congregation is Creciendo en Gracia, "Growing in Grace"
Headquartered in a Doral (Miami) warehouse with outposts throughout Latin America, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Canada, and Australia. The group claims 300 congregations with more than 100,000 members, plus a 24-hour satellite station that reaches two million homes and growing. In 2005 alone, Creciendo en Gracia has added nearly 100 churches to its roster. José Luis De Jesus Miranda is a 60-year-old Puerto Rican. Devotees call him Jesus Christ and lavish him with gifts and money. More than 400 followers have set up businesses that funnel 20 to 80 percent of their profits into the ministry. Others donate cars, homes, and tens of thousands of dollars in cash and services. De Jesus’ followers believe they are God’s true chosen people, believe they are gods, and call their children the “super race.”
De Jesus’ gospel flows from an experience he had in December 1976. He was standing in a luminous marble corridor where trumpets blared and a spectral figure came towards him. Then the apparition merged with him, and he began to hear a man’s voice in his head. The voice said, ‘Open your Bible,’ De Jesus recalls. “So I opened to Romans 6 and it said, ‘Read that … that means you’re dead to sin; sin can’t reign in your life.’” The experience left De Jesus transformed. He believes that was the night of Christ’s second coming, although at the time he did not realize it. In 1986 the voice told him, “Move to Miami. There you’ll have a bridge to all nations.” So at age 40, De Jesus, his then-wife Nydia, and their children went to the Miami area and began preaching his message on WVCG-AM (1080) and formed a congregation.
In 1998 he claimed to be the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul. The following year he proclaimed himself to be “El Otro”—a demigod who would lay the foundation for the Lord’s return. in 2004 he named himself Jesus Christ and the ultimate authority on the gospel. Today no one but him—and his prophet, Carlos Cestero—are allowed to preach. De Jesus always dictates the message. Instead of regular sermons, most followers around the world watch videos or simulcasts of these men projected on a screen behind the pulpit. There are signs he plans to move his headquarter to Houston, TX.

His name is Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda; his followers call him everything from apostle to Dad, or simply Jesus Christ Man. De Jesus Miranda himself believes he’s the living incarnation of “Jesus Christ Man,” “the second coming of Christ.” Followers of his believe “he is God, he is God.” "I don’t have one Rolex,” de Jesus Miranda said, “I have three because they want to give it to me. It's like that woman that came to Jesus with the expensive perfume and put it on his feet. He didn’t reject it, so when someone gives me a watch or a gift, I receive it. This self-proclaimed Son of God is a 60 year old former heroin addict and convict. The divorced father of four was born in Puerto Rico and now lives in South Florida with his second wife.
From a warehouse in Doral, near Miami, he presides over the "Creciendo en Gracia" or Growing in Grace Ministry which he also calls “God's Government On Earth. He is protected by a security detail that mimics the U.S. Secret Service. In an interview with the self-proclaimed Messiah, Ileana Varela asked De Jesus if he was able to do some of the things Jesus Christ did like performing miracles, healing the sick, and walking on water. De Jesus said not necessarily. “My life is my church and what I’m doing worldwide,” he said. Former member Regina Albarracin left the church about 5 years ago. Her husband soon followed but their son Alvaro remained to become one of the ministry's biggest financial backers, donating more than $1 million to the church. Albarracin’s title bestowed upon him by De Jesus is “el Empresario de los empresarios” (The Entrepreneur of the entrepreneurs”).
The message De Jesus is propagating at more than 300 centers in Central and South America, Cuba, and the U.S. is there is no sin, no devil, and no hell. De Jesus says, “It doesn’t exist. The devil was destroyed two thousand years ago," When asked how to explain why adultery, murder, and stealing still exist and cannot be considered sin, De Jesus and his followers explain, “…it is not sin (because sin has been abolished according to De Jesus’ false gospel) but is surely something that goes against the laws of man.” The false doctrine is music to the ears of his followers, mostly Hispanic men and women who believe they are God's chosen people, predestined for salvation no matter what they do on earth. They also believe all other faiths are false and must be destroyed. His followers have organized marches at which they destroy religious books and symbols. They also have a campaign aimed at disrupting other religious gatherings. "I know were going to be running the whole world,” de Jesus said. Unfazed by the criticism, de Jesus continues to plan for the role he believes he is destined to play on the world's stage. “I will be president of the biggest government that this earth has experienced," promised de Jesus.

“I am the second coming of Christ, that messiah that they’ve been waiting for,” said Dr. Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda.
But he claims to be something much more. A self-confessed heroin addict at 14, in jail at 21, Dr. Miranda said angels visited him, then Christ himself. “He came and he disappeared in me. He integrated in me. Since then I’ve been teaching mysteries in the Bible,” Dr. Miranda said. What is undeniably true is that people believe him. “They don’t understand it. They call it a cult. If I’m a cult, I’m the best one. I love to direct this beautiful cult,” said Dr. Miranda.
His pulpit has S S S written on the front. His followers wear S S S on their shirts and ball caps. On their official state seal of the "Growing in Grace Government of God on Earth" is a bald eagle with shield. On the shield is a trumpet blaring S S S. On the De Jesus website teachings are taught on pages called capsules. On the heading of these capsules is a picture of encapsulated pharmaceuticals, each with the initial S S S. The initials are supposed to mean, according to De Jesus, “Salvo, Siempre Salvo.” In Spanish that is supposed to mean “Saved, Always Saved. However, “Salvo” can be conjugated as first person, singular, present tense. Which would mean “I save, Always I save. Since De Jesus believes he is the savior in his mind it means the latter. However, when viewed, S S S on the pulpit, pills, caps, and shirts gives a first impression of six, six, six.
De Jesus Teaches Three Manifestations of God
The three manifestations of God according to De Jesus are Melchisidec, Jesús of Nazerth, and The Other Man, Christ Jesús a Puerto Rican from Miami. “Bendecido hermano: Lo declaramos alumbrado para enteneder que nuestro Apóstol José Luis MEDIA entre Dios y los hombres, por eso es Jesucristo hombre.” Interpretation: Blessed brother: It (the teaching of the three manifestations of God) we declare enlightened (with enlightenment) so that it is understood our Apostle Jose Luis mediates between God and man, for that he is Jesús Christ the man.
Another Gospel according to De Jesus
In order to obtain salvation De Jesus preaches: Apreciado hermano: Lo declaramos alumbrado y entiende que para nacer de nuevo debemos tener los ojos alumbrados, estar en la segunda gracia, y llevar fruto, más fruto y mucho fruto. Interpretation: Esteemed brother: It (De Jesus’ salvation message) we declare enlightened (with enlightenment) and you understand that in order to be born again we should have the eyes enlightened, be in the second grace, and bare fruit, more fruit, and much fruit.
De Jesús preaches a three-fold gospel of works. First, a person has to have their eyes illuminated to the truth of De Jesus’ false gospel in order to be born again. When a person sees that De Jesús is God, that the “chosen ones” think different than other organized religions, and are “at peace” with what they believe, then they will be able to advance in the second grace which is the second part of their salvation. The second grace in De Jesus’ words are to understand and recognize the gospel of the uncircumcision as interpreted by De Jesús. That is knowing sin is abolished so no matter what a person does they are not sinning and are the super chosen race destined to be saved no matter what they do. A person in the second grace will not criticize (at least De Jesús and his followers) because that is hypocritical according to De Jesús and not part of the second grace or gospel of the uncircumcision according to De Jesus. And the third requisite for salvation according to De Jesús is to abide with Jesús. Because if you do not abide with Jesús then you cannot bear fruit, more fruit, and much more fruit. And of course De Jesús is signifying he is the Man Christ Jesús and that his followers have to stick with him in order to bear fruit in order to be saved. This is a false gospel.
De Jesús Declares he is the father of spirits
“¿Sabía usted que el Padre de nuestro espíritu es el Apóstol José Luis De Jesús Miranda y no Jesús de Nazaret?” Interpretation: “Did you know that the Father of our spirit is the Apostle Jose Luis De Jesús Miranda and not Jesús of Nazereth?” (Blasphemous garbage).
Apreciado hermano: Lo declaramos alumbrado y entiende que el Padre de nuestros espíritus nos sella, nos alumbra, nos disciplina y nos hace partícipes de su herencia. Interpretion: Esteemed brother: It (De Jesus’ teaching) we declare enlightened (with enlightenment) and understand (you) that the Father of our spirits seals us (seals our spirits), enlightens us, disciplines us, and makes us participants of his (De Jesus’) inheritance.
José Luis De Jesús Miranda is a false-Christ of the rankest sort. The only inheritance his followers will participate in is hell-fire.
