Miracles are for today. Any Christian can attest to the fact that God has performed miracles in their life. Many people will say that is impossible, but each soul knows what God has done for them. If a person claims to be able to do miracles then check them out because God has given power to the anti-Christ, the false prophet, and devils to do miracles. The Bible says for such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. II Corinthians 11:13-15. Judas Iscariot was given the same power as the apostles. Jesus questioned His apostles, saying, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you IS a devil? John 6:70. Jesus was referring to Judas Iscariot and he did heal and perform miracles right along with the other apostles.
Miracles must be aligned up with the Bible to check and see if they are of God or of the devil. When a healer comes to town and heals a person is that scriptural? Ask some questions about these healing meetings. When the apostles healed people did they set up a tent and collect money? Or would they have gone house to house and to the hospitals in town to heal people for free, just for the chance to preach the gospel when people perceived the miracles of God. Some hucksters will send cohorts months ahead of time into a town in a wheelchair. This devil will rent a cheap apartment, living among the people to gain the confidence of the townsfolk. When the healing meeting comes to town the invalid will go to the altar and get healed. When all the meetings are over, the money is collected up, and the tent is taken down, the invalid collects his paycheck, goes to the next town, and the routine starts again.
Check the miracles out and see if they are done according to scripture, word for word. Many so-called, miracle working devils use modern day electronics. People will come to a meeting and fill out a visitor's card with all sorts of questions and "prayer requests" needed by an individual. The cards are collected up while the devil "evangelist" is on stage. The cards are whisked up to the devil's partner in another room. When the staged evangelist claims God is speaking to him about a certain person in the audience, this devil can come up with some amazing details on a person's life. The devil's partner is radioing into his earpiece all the details. If this happens to you see if it is only the details you have recorded on the "visitor's card." People are duped and will give the devil money hand over fist for these "miracles" he is performing. Do not be deceived.
God performs miracles. The devil's perform miracles. Check it out before you shout it out.
