The work of every true Christian is evangelism. Evangelism is the work of spreading the true gospel to every creature.  This can be done through preaching, teaching, gospel tracts, movies, the Internet, and house to house visitation. Any work that accomplishes this goal of getting the gospel to every person in this world is the work of evangelism.

   Evangelism is not the work of a false preacher who preaches a false gospel for money and worldly fame. If a person is not preaching the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our LORD then they are not preaching the true gospel.

   People who do not believe in the free will of mankind will not evangelize. Their line of thought is since God chooses who will get saved, why go and tell them, they are destined to heaven or hell. This is a false doctrine; they have lost their purpose in life. A person can choose salvation or reject it. A person can choose to evangelize or let the world go to hell.

   A Christian will be judged for not evangelizing. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 33:8-9.
