SCRIPTURES

_________

Eschatology is the term used to mean the study of end-time subjects. The Bible teaches the next great event on God's calendar will be the translation of the believers to heaven (commonly known as the rapture) for a seven year period. While this takes place the anti-Christ will reign on earth during the time known as the tribulation.  In heaven the true Christians will be judged for the deeds they have done while on earth at the judgment seat of Christ. After that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place. After that the saints will be given their position in the armies of heaven which will return to earth to destroy the anti-Christ and the armies of the world that have surrounded Jerusalem.  I Corinthians Chapter 15, Revelation Chapters 1-4.

During the tribulation the anti-Christ will make a concordant with the Jewish nation of Israel for the false-Messiah to rule from the new Temple in Jerusalem during the first three-and-a-half years of the Time of Jacob's Troubles. Once the eyes of the Jewish nation are open to the blasphemous sacrifices taking place in their Temple they will attempt to assassinate the anti-Christ and flee into the wilderness. The anti-Christ miraculously rises from the dead and his heart is filled with the devil. The ensuing battle will last for three-and-a-half-years while Jerusalem is surrounded with the armies of the world being lead by the United Nations. Revelation Chapters 5-18.

At this point THE LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, will return with His armies to the battle of Armageddon to destroy the anti-Christ and his armies. King Jesus sets up his millennial reign in Jerusalem after cleansing the Temple. The curse is taken off of the earth and the lamb will lay down with the lion. The devil is cast into the abyss for this thousand year period. After this thousand year period the devil is allowed to return to the earth for a short period of time to deceive the nations for the last time. The devil is still able to raise up a rebellious group of people to try and overthrow the Maker of heaven and earth as He is present in the sight of the whole world to see on His throne in Jerusalem. After this short period of time all those who have rebelled will be judged at the Great White Throne of Judgment. The lost souls from all time and history will be taken out of hell, judged, and cast into the lake of fire along with the devil and all of his fallen angels. Isaiah Chapter 11, Revelation Chapters 19-20.

After this judgment the LORD will create a new heavens and a new earth. The former things will pass away. Behold all things will become new. Revelation Chapters 21-22.
