Doctrine Not Important?
I say, ‘Get out of God's way, quit blocking God's bridges (which appears to be his Church ecumenism and pointing out the Crouch's false teachings); or God is going to shoot you if I don't.’"
"I think God's given up on a lot of that old rotten Sanhedrin religious crowd, twice dead, plucked up by the roots. I think they're damned and on their way to hell and I don't think there's any redemption for them...the heresy hunters that want to find a little mote of illegal doctrine in some Christian's eye and pluck that little mote out of their eye when they've got the whole forest in their own lives and in their own eyes. I say to hell with you! Oh hallelujah. Get out of God's way, quit blocking God's bridges or God's gonna shoot you if I don't! I refuse to argue any longer with any of you out there. Don't even call me. If you want to argue doctrine, if you want to straighten out somebody over here, if you want to criticize Ken Copeland for his preaching on faith, or Dad Hagin. Get out of my life! I don't even want to talk to you or hear you. I don't want to see your ugly face! Get out of my face in Jesus' name." ("Praise-a-thon" on TBN, 4/2/91)
Paul Crouch : "We gotten so caught up in theology and debating and discussing theology and nit picking on this, and the heretic hunters have smokescreen the whole thing." (The Christian Channel Europe "Praise The Lord" 14/6/98)
Paul Crouch has said "Let Him (God) sort out all this doctrinal doo-doo, I don’t care about it." Crouch has distanced himself from all the kooky things said under the name of the Lord by his guests, allowing those who buy air time or as guests to say whatever they want. Not once have I ever heard a challenge or a question on what any of their favorites say.
Blasphemy
Kenneth Copeland: "I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is."
Paul Crouch: "Okay."
Kenneth Copeland: "You know everybody you ask, you say, ‘Who’s the biggest failure?’ They say, ‘Judas.’ Somebody else will say, ‘No, I believe it was Adam.’ Well, how about the devil?"
Paul Crouch: (amazed.)
Kenneth Copeland: "He’s the most consistent failure . . . but he’s not the biggest in terms of material failure and so forth. The biggest in the whole Bible is God. . . . Wait, wait. Don’t you turn that set off. You listen to us. I told you. . . . Now, you sit still a minute. You know me well enough to know I wouldn’t tell something I can’t prove by the Bible.
"He lost His top ranking of most anointed angel, the first man He ever created, the first woman He ever created, the whole earth and all the fullness therein, a third of the angels at least. That’s a big loss, man! I mean you figure up all of that, that’s a lot of real estate, gone down the drain.
"Now, the reason you don’t think of God as a failure, He never said He’s a failure. (Paul Crouch and others laughing on the set.) And you are not a failure until you say you are one." ("Praise-a-Thon" program on TBN [April 1988.)
Implication= God couldn't control heavenly and earthly events, he failed but we don't think this way because he never admitted it!
False Teachers Claiming Jesus Christ IS NOT God manifest in the flesh:
More Blasphemy
Crouch allows others to proclaim Jesus is not God.
Joseph Good: "Yeshua (Jesus), we do not see as being God when He walked here on earth. We see Him as a man."
Guest: "A man anointed by God."
Joseph Good: "A man anointed by God, sent by God to perform a function. Now, in his resurrection . . "
Guest: "He’s not God."
Joseph Good: "We do not see Him as God. We see Him as a man anointed by God. And that has been restored. There is nothing in the statements of Yeshua, in the statements of the disciples that would cause one to believe that they were proclaiming that He was deity."
Implication= Jesus was anointed just like the prophets and he is no more in nature than man. This is exactly what the many of the cults believe and this is why they are called cults (1 Jn.4:1-3) May we suggest the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Muslims, etc. as a place of fellowship for Mr. Good.
Jan's Cancer Healed By A Physician And Not One Of Their Own!
It seems to me being surrounded by all these healers who claim these fantastic stories avails to nothing. What does it take to awake people to the fact that these men do not have the gift of healing and miracles as they claim! Was Benny Hinn their personal friend called up to heal? Are the hundreds of people who claim to see miracles on a daily basis called up? No, instead Jan knew what any sensible person knows--she went to the doctor and had surgery for her cancer. Yet we hear that she refuses chemo-therapy because she says she is healed. Does this make sense? If she is claiming healing after her surgery why didn’t she do so before her surgery. Well it becomes as obvious that she does not trust her health to Hinn or any other to heal and she was not willing to risk her life, nor her word faith confession theology for it.
CHANGING THE MEANING OF THE WORD OF GOD TO MEAN MONEY:
Even More Blasphemy
This has been going on for along time, Paul Crouch states, “If you're broke. if you're at your wit's end, if you're out of a job, out of work, let me tell ya. Not only are we gonna bless the world and preach Christ to millions and multitudes around the world, but you can be saved, yourself, by planting seed in this fertile soil called TBN” (Paul Crouch Praise the Lord TBN July 21, 1992)
PRAISING OTHER FALSE PROPHETS
In "Blinded by the Sun" which was completed in December of 2003; the editor wrote about the harlotry between Pope John Paul II and Paul Crouch of Trinity Broadcasting Network. The Pope was quick to call Muslims "brothers". In August of last year the writer wondered how long it would be before the harlotrous leaders of TBN and their blasphemous cohorts would do the same? The answer came in April of 2005 on TBN.
"On the same show, another so called Christian leader, Grant Jeffery, had much to say. According to this “expert” there are only approximately 100,000 Muslim extremists, thus excusing all others. Islam is the religion of the sword, and the whole world has felt the effects of the teachings of Muhammad. Yet, Pope John Paul II has joined hands with Muslims, calling them brothers. Perhaps the day is not too far off when those that are considered leaders in the body of Christ, will join hands with the followers of Islam, calling them 'brothers'! In early April during the Spring 2005 Trinity Broadcasting 'Rip-off a Thon', Paul Crouch did indeed wax eloquently about his Muslim brothers and sisters that will be able to watch TBN (Total Blasphemy Network) on satellite dishes."
Levitation
"It happened last Wednesday," she wrote. "‘Jan,’ I heard a voice say. ‘Yes,’ I responded, looking around…. ‘Hello.’ I heard nothing. "Hello, is someone there? Did someone call me?’ Working in my office about 4:00 p.m., I heard it again from down the hall: ’Jan.’ I answered, ‘Yes, I heard you…hello? Did someone call me?’… "It was 10:30 p.m. — and I was still in my office finishing up late faxes — I heard it again. ‘Jan.’ I froze in my chair. I said, ‘Is someone there?’ and got up quickly and went to the back door."
She could not find the source of the voice, so she then pulled her dogs close to her as she finished up and went home, she wrote. Then she described how she was awakened –- presumably by the source of that audible voice she heard earlier. "I suppose it was about three in the morning — I’ve been awakened a lot in the past year and when it happens I just talk to Jesus a while and usually fall back asleep — but this was different. I felt as if I was lifted up off my bed — not far, maybe one foot or so — but I felt as if I were floating and hands were holding me."
Apologist and discernment expert Mike Oppenheimer of Hawaii agreed with this writer that the episode was anything but benevolent. "Hearing a voice call her name and her reaction of bringing the dogs seems to show fear," he commented. "So there was no peace in this matter; she seems to know it was not Jesus."
